Soccer Fields at Baca Community School
- The project consisted of the installation of two (2) artificial turf Soccer Fields for the Baca Community School.
- The large pitch is 205’x 340’ (185’x 320’ competition area),
- The small pitch is 115’x 145’ (95’x125’ competition area).
- Both fields have 10’ safety runout beyond competition area.
- The fields locations required extensive site work and drainage adjustments to contend with the large volumes of water received from the I-40 Interstate and an adjacent one hundred and eighty (180) acres of terrain.
- The artificial turf soccer fields included a subterranean drainage system and concrete header around the perimeter.
- The site work included a culvert and channel system with grouted rip-rap and water weirs to move water entering the site away from the soccer fields.
