Government Contracts and certifications

General information

Efficio Construction Services has worked with multiple government agencies on numerous projects for over 30 years, and we have become increasingly familiar with the strict standards and processes that are necessary when completing them. We have a more than capable team working to precure new contracts, and further enhance our relationship with these government agencies. Completing these contracts requires more diligent planning and compliance with extensive safety requirements such as background checks and in most cases the creation of a comprehensive safety plan which encompasses risk analysis and compliance with agency design criteria. Most local construction companies tend to avoid these types of contracts, however Efficio actively searches for them. If you are a government agency, you need Efficio, we guarantee results that will exceed your expectations when it comes to scheduling, meeting safety standards, adaptive budgeting, and expert know-how.

Efficio construction services has many certifications on the federal, state and self certified level. These certifications include:

  • *Minority Owned Business – The Texas small business association issues Minority Owned Business Certification to companies with 51% or more minority-ownership. This certification shows a pride in ownership and verifies the structure under which it is owned. Efficio is primarily made up of Hispanic Americans and is proud to be certified as such.

  • Self Certified Small Disadvantaged Business – In order to be qualified as a Small Disadvantaged Business, the small firm must be owned and controlled by a person or persons, who are economically and socially disadvantaged

  • DOT Certified DBE – The Department of Transportation has certified Efficio as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise which is exclusively made up of small, independent businesses, owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Most participate as subcontractors on federally assisted projects.

  • Hispanic American Owned – Being certified as a Hispanic American Owned business is officially recognized as at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by one or more Hispanic Americans.

  • Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Certified – HUB Certification through the Statewide HUB Program requires specific information about the small business and supporting documentation to substantiate and verify the business structure is HUB eligible
